Gifford-Hill Alco RS1 number 204 was at the company's gravel pit located along the McComb District of the Illinois Central 80 miles north of New Orleans. The locomotive was built in January 1945 as Minneapolis & St. Louis 1144 and was later renumbered Mt&SL 204, before being sold to the Jahnke Service Co. at this location.
