Description:  With the dynamic brakes roaring as this long freight train crawled down the hill in the siding at Oregon during sun set, BNSF 8290 led a Dash 8, still in ATSF paint through the darkening skies as the sun disappeared and parked under the IL RT 2 bridge. I waited a long while for this train to show up, and I found out that a relative of mine was at the throttle. It was super cold as I waited for this train, and I chose this location in Oregon because they installed lights in the yard on the switches, which would come in handy for these night shots.
