Description:  The second generation of Wheeling and Lake Erie #6350 is seen in Connellsville picking up some tank cars from CSX. This engine was just acquired in January 2015 and put into service in March 2015. Built as CP 5659 in April 1973. Later became GCFX 3055 and CITX 3055. The former 6350 that is grey was renumbered to 6981.

Description:  Running long-hood forward over Narrows road on the Connellsville City and Connellsville Township border, not far from MPC 1 on the Wheeling and Lake Erie line. This engine was acquired in January 2015 and replaced the previous 6350 which was grey. Built in April 1973 as CP 5659. Later became GCFX 3055 and CITX 3055. Though it has been owned by W&LE almost a year now, I am calling it new to differentiate between the previous 6350 engine.

Description:  Heading back west onto the interchange (away from the photo). After dropping off four tank cars the only thing they have to take back are the buffer cars. WE 6350 is leading and has exactly the same paint. W&LE 6991 SD40-2 was purchased by Wheeling and Lake Erie in December 2015 and was only put into service in February 2016. It is former CITX 3068/GCFX 3068/GTW 5929 built in December 1970.
