EMD built this F7B unit in May of 1949 originally as Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific #103B (serial #6117). The bright red with yellow strip and the "speed" lettering for ROCK ISLAND on the side is actually quite striking. The final disposition of this unit is currently unknown. The photo is from the collection of R.W. B. and now in my collection. |
